How do I book a hot air balloon ride or tour?
You can easily book online through our website by selecting your preferred tour, date, and number of travelers. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an instant confirmation email with all the details.
What is included in the hot air balloon ride?
Our standard hot air balloon ride includes hotel pickup and drop-off, a safety briefing, a 45–60 minute flight over Luxor, and a flight certificate. Some packages also include sightseeing tours—check the inclusions listed under each package.
What should I wear for the balloon flight?
We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. A light jacket or sweater is advised as mornings can be cool, especially in winter.
Is the hot air balloon ride safe?
Yes. Safety is our top priority. All our flights are operated by licensed pilots, and our balloons undergo regular maintenance checks. A full safety briefing is provided before take-off.
Can children join the hot air balloon ride?
Yes. Children aged 6 years and above are welcome to join. For safety reasons, younger children and infants cannot participate in the flight.
What happens if the weather is not suitable for flying?
If the weather conditions are unsafe (strong winds, fog, or rain), flights may be delayed or rescheduled. If we must cancel your flight, you’ll be offered a full refund or the option to rebook.
What is the best time to fly?
The best time is at sunrise when the weather is calm, and the views are breathtaking. All our balloon flights are scheduled early in the morning for the best experience.
How long does the entire experience take?
The hot air balloon ride itself lasts around 45–60 minutes, but the full experience (including hotel pickup, transfer, check-in, and return) usually takes 3–4 hours.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, booking in advance is highly recommended to secure your spot, especially during the peak travel season in Luxor.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full Refund or Credit:
- Eligible if you cancel your flight outside of 48 hours from the scheduled flight date.
- Eligible if Luxor Ballooning cancels the flight due to weather.
Rescheduling:
- Must be done outside of 48 hours before your scheduled flight.
No-Show Policy:
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the flight will be treated as no-shows.
- No-shows will not receive a refund or credit.
Do you offer private balloon flights or group tours?
Yes. We offer both shared flights with other travelers and private flights for couples, families, or special occasions. We also provide sightseeing tour packages to combine with your balloon experience.
Can I bring my camera?
Absolutely! Cameras and phones are allowed, and you’ll capture stunning views of Luxor from above. Just make sure your device is secure during the flight.
